“The internship program really opened my eyes to a whole new dimension of the world of female athletics.  It showed me the severity of sexism women still face, but also how its changing, and how each person can have an impact on that change. I feel like it really inspired me to make a change, and taught me valuable life lessons and pushed me out of my comfort zone so as to gain skills that I wouldn’t have now without it.” – Melina Monlux
